A free, approximately seven-week licensing course in preparation for the FCC General Class Amateur Radio examination. This course is appropriate for hams who already have a Technician level license.
The FCC no longer requires Morse code ability. The FCC exam will be given on the last night of the class. The class is open to the public, and there are no age restrictions. For information contact Roland Anders (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Usually held at the National Electronics Museum on West Nursery Road on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The General course will be held again in 2014 following the Technician class. Dates to be announced.
